Thermal Precision Systems
Privacy Policy
Thermal Precision Systems LLC (“TPS,” “we,” “us”) provides TPS Cal, software for managing thermal-processing calibration and pyrometry compliance. This policy explains how we handle information in connection with our website at tpscal.com and the TPS Cal application and related services (the “Services”).
Information we collect
- Account and contact information you provide, such as name, work email, company, and phone number.
- Customer Data you enter into the Services — including calibration, system accuracy, temperature-uniformity, equipment, and certification records. You own and control this data; we process it on your behalf to provide the Services.
- Usage and device data generated when you use the Services, such as log data, IP address, application version, and timestamps, used for security, troubleshooting, and reliability.
- Authentication data stored on your device or browser to keep you signed in and to enable offline use of the application. The tpscal.com marketing site itself uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use information
- Provide, operate, secure, and maintain the Services and your account.
- Authenticate users and protect against unauthorized access.
- Provide support and respond to your requests.
- Improve the reliability and functionality of the Services.
- Comply with legal, contractual, and records-retention obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only:
- With service providers and infrastructure subprocessors that host and support the Services, under confidentiality obligations;
- When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety;
- In connection with a business transfer, subject to this policy;
- At your direction or with your consent.
Data storage and security
The Services are hosted on managed infrastructure in the United States. We use measures designed to protect information, such as encryption in transit, access controls, tenant separation, and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services and to meet legal, contractual, and records-retention requirements. Because compliance records may be subject to mandated retention periods, some Customer Data may be retained for the period required by the applicable standard or your agreement. You may request export or deletion of data, subject to those obligations.
Your choices
You may request to access, correct, export, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal and contractual limits. To make a request, contact us at nick@tpscal.com.
